IMPORTANT NOTICE

I am currently modifying how I offer/teach my funshops. Listed below are the types of funshops I have offered and will probably continue to offer. I can also custom design a funshop based on what it is you want to learn.

I prefer to offer funshops for groups of 3-7 people. If you have a group of people that want to take a funshop, contact me to set up a date and time.

I also offer private one-on-one lessons for $40/hour

» Weekly Creative Activities NEW! «

As of July 5, 2008, I now write a weekly blog where we explore and/or play with our creative side. Each Sunday a new entry will be posted with new, and hopefully fun, activities to play with and explore.

» Monthly In-Studio Demonstrations NEW! «

As of July 2008, I now offer monthly in-studio demonstration days. On the 4th Thursday of each month, throughout that day in my studio I'll demonstrate either a technique and/or a product. On Thursdays where it's a holiday, I will schedule it the next day.

» Funshops «

Playing w/ Colored Pencils I – $20/person: We'll play with Prismacolor brand colored pencils, c/p techniques, some color theory, shading, blending & more. All materials provided.

Playing w/ Colored Pencils II – $20/person: We'll continue to play with Prismacolor pencils from the Color Pencil I FunShop. We'll play with the white pencil, a colorless blender pencil, and do more shading & blending techniques that will make your colorings pop! All materials provided. Prerequisite: Colored Pencils I

Playing With Markers – $30/person: We'll play with artist-quality markers, with emphasis on how to color/blend/shade with them. All materials provided.

Playing With Watercolor Pencils – $30/person: We'll play with watercolor pencils and a watercolor brush on watercolor paper covering a variety of techniques to get the most out of your pencils. Wear your play clothes...it could get good & messy! All materials provided.

Playing with Watercolors – $30/person: Using watercolor paints, watercolor paper, and a paint brush we will play with water and colors and watch what happens when you bring the two together. This is all about creating art by playing. Wear your play clothes for this one! All materials provided.

"Create Your Own" Designs – $20/person: Turn your doodles into art. With an easy-to-use template, we'll play with lines, circles, patterns and symbols to create a variety of mandala designs. After this fun-shop you'll be able to create your own mandalas to color. All materials provided.

Mandala Meditation – $20/person: We'll create a mandala via a guided meditation. This will be a free-form mandala which we will then color using colored pencils/markers/crayons. You can use this time to receive insights into a personal issue(s) and/or connect with that higher part of yourself that has all the answers. All materials provided.
